Xiyue Peng specialises in the functional materials and mechanisms for Aluminum batteries

​She is working on the rational design of advanced nanomaterals (i.e. carbons, organics and polymers) for sustainable Aluminum batteries,including secondary Al-ion battery, Al-sulfur battery, and Al-organic battery. Her research interests mainly focus on the in-depth understanding the structure-performace relationships for high-performance Aluminum storage.

​Xiyue Peng received her Master′s degree from Liaoning Normal University in 2018. Currently, she is a PhD candidate under the supervision of Dr. Bin Luo and Prof. Lianzhou Wang at the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, UQ. Her research interests focus on the design and development of functional nanomaterials for high-performance Aluminum batteries, such as Al-ion battery, Al-sulfur battery, and Al-organic battery.
