Sharon's project currently focuses on uncovering and investigating carbohydrates on extracellular vesicles.
Sharon is an Honours student with the Wolfram group at the University of Queensland's Australian Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology where she currently investigates the interaction between Hyaluronic acid and Extracellular Vesicles produced by metastatic Breast Cancer cells.
Sharon first completed a Diploma in Biomedical Engineering at Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore (2018-2021). She subsequently graduated from The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biomedical Science (2021-2022).
