Ruojie He specialises in Neuron differentiation of DARS mutation human iPSCs

Established patient derived iPSC with DARS mutations and others will be positioned around the active site and proposed dimerization domains of the DARS enzyme. Then, isolate cortex neurons from patient and control iPSCand subject these to morphometric analysis, RNAseq and proteomics to identify molecular signatures of the disease and assess how these differ between the introduced mutations. c) co-culture oligodendrocytes , neurons and astrocytes from control and DARS mutation hiPSC.

From Sep 2007 to Jul 2012, Ruojie He studied in Medical School of Xiamen University, China and got a bachelor degree of clinical medicine. From Sep 2012 to July 2015, Ruojie studied in the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University and got a master degree of Neurology. Current Ruojie is a PhD candidate in the Department of First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-Sen University.
