Hazel specialises in development of impermeable, flexible and ultrasound sensitive microcapsules
The aim of this project is to develop an ultrasound responsive microcapsule for BBB opening, based on existing encapsulation technologies to form a polymeric microcapsule with fluorinated liquid/gas core. More robust bubbles will give an increased safety window as more controlled cavitation will reduce bleeds etc.
