Synthetic biology tools for yeast metabolic engineering

Li Chen is constructing novel synthetic biology tools for studying individual reaction steps in a complex metabolic pathway. These tools can potentially be used to improve isoprenoid production in yeast.

Li Chen is from Malaysia and holds a BSc Biotechnology degree from University College London (2015). She is currently pursuing her research under a Research Training Program (RTP) scholarship.
