Quantum dot material and quantum dot solar cells

​Mengmeng Hao obtained his Bachelor and Master's degrees in Metallurgical Engineering from Central South University in China, and obtained his Doctor's degree from The University of Queensland (UQ) in Australia. Now he works as an ACAP postdoctoral fellow in AIBN in UQ. His research mainly focuses on the development of semiconductor materials and novel solar cell devices. Until now, he has published 18 papers in the influential journals including Nature Energy and Advanced Functional Materials and issued an Australian patent. In late 2018, as the key researcher, he developed a high efficiency quantum dot solar cell and broke the efficiency world record, which was recognised in the highly influential Best Research-Cell Efficiencies Chart.
