Optimization of a Sortase A based conjugation and the characterization of bioactive molecules for the control of fibrinolysis.

In this research I will focus on the optimization of a Sortase​ A based conjugation of bioactive molecules onto BCN for a SPAAC based bioactivation of polyisocyanopeptide hydrogel. My research will also be focussed on the characterisation of bioactive molecules for effective control of fibrinolysis in the context of the polyisocyanopeptide hydrogel.

Sabine is in the fourth year of her bachelor, Organic chemistry, at the HAN University of Applied Sciences. After a minor Bio-NanoTechnology she is now a trainee in the Biomimetics group (Rowan group), at the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology.​
