My research is mainly focused on creating bioinformatic tools to enable researchers to study DNA methylation and epigenetics.

I completed my BSc(Hons I) in microbiology focusing on the characterisation of a novel insect specific flavivirus (Palm Creek Virus) in 2011. I returned to UQ in 2013 to undertake my MPhil focusing on creating bioinformatic tools for analysis of DNA methylation in the Centre for Personalised Nanomedicine. After completing my MPhil, I continued my PhD in the same centre, this time focusing my research on the 3D topology of DNA.
