Sukhi's focus is to apply biology to real world applications

Sukhi assists in the development of a haemostatic wound dressing to prevent traumatic bleeding.  The proposed haemostatic wound dressing is composed of a hydrogel scaffold with procoagulant and antifibrinolytic agents to accelerate the haemostasis phase in wound healing.  Furthermore, he tests how the proposed wound dressing affects biocompatibility and cell migration to ensure the haemostatic wound dressing holds no deficit to any other phase of wound healing.
