Synthesis of nanoporous functional materials for electrochemical and device applications

Mesoporous noble metals and others have been attracted by researchers in material science and industry. Although many mesoporous metals including gold, copper, platinum, and others have been demonstrated by using self-assembly of micelles as pore-directing reagents, different metals and other materials should be investigated more. On the other hand, the mesoporous films are very promising for many applications since they can be directly used to many applications in optical, electronic devices. Hyunsoo Lim work on these material research and its applications to find new materials mesoporous structures and application to devices.

He received his bachelor's (2012) and master's (2014) degrees in quantum science at Chiba University, Japan. After graduation, he joined and worked on a semiconductor and display company called LG display in South Korea for 3 years. He started his Ph.D. in 2017 and has worked on the synthesis of mesoporous materials and their applications of devices.
