Aymloids interaction with respect to the microbiota-gut-brain axis

The research studies the propagation of microbial amyloid seeds from the human gut towards the brain and the interaction of these microbial seeds with amyloid-beta and tau protein in Alzheimer's disease in terms of cross-seeding and neurotoxicity.

Recently graduated from The University of Queensland with Bachelor of Biotechnology honours class I, major in drug design and development. The honours research was to discover the interaction between gut microbial amyloid seeds and amyloid-beta with respect to the microbiota-gut-brain axis in Alzheimer's disease.
