Project Summary

This project aims to unlock the full potential of “hyper-fermentation”, an advanced biomanufacturing process that enables microbes to continuously produce valuable molecules at much higher efficiency than conventional fermentation. The project will reveal the biological and operational mechanisms that underpin the superiority of Cauldron’s hyper-fermentation process, demonstrate the generalisability of the process, and also identify any bottlenecks in Cauldron’s process that FaBA can optimize to maximise target protein production. The findings will provide crucial scientific evidence and process insights to support the commercialisation of Cauldron’s of this next-generation fermentation process.
