Characterization and preparation of wound healing product prototypes based on spinifex derived nanocellulose.

Dylan Rentrop is a Dutch student in his final year of his B.Sc. program in Chemistry and is completing his graduation internship at the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology. Dylan is studying at the HAN University of Applied Sciences in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, where he was also born and raised. He chose Organic and Physical (polymer) Chemistry as his specialization and completed a minor in Analytical Chemistry. Dylan is working on an Industry funded project within Professor Alan Rowan’s research group on spinifex nanocellulose in partnership with Bulugudu Ltd, developing innovative new nanocellulose product prototypes to improve wound healing outcomes. Dylan is working within the wound healing research program under the supervision of Dr. Amanda Kijas and Dr. Ramanathan Yegappan.
