Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA)
The DECRA scheme provides research support for early career researchers in teaching and research, and research-only positions. Its objectives are to:
- support excellent basic and applied research by early career researchers
- support national and international research collaboration
- enhance the scale and focus of research in Australian Government priority areas
- advance promising early career researchers and promote enhanced opportunities for diverse career pathways
- enable research and research training in high quality and supportive environments
Up to 200 three-year Discovery Early Career Researcher Awards, including up to $50,000 per annum in project funds, may be awarded each year.

Future Fellowships
Future Fellowships support excellent mid-career researchers to undertake high-quality research in areas of national and international benefit.
Future Fellowships provide 4-year fellowships to outstanding Australian mid-career researchers. The ARC may also award the administering organisation up to $60,000 of non-salary funding per year to use for personnel, equipment, travel, and field research costs directly related to the Future Fellow's research.

Australian Laureate Fellowships
Australian Laureate Fellows will be researchers of international repute who will play a significant, sustained leadership and mentoring role in building Australia's international competitive research capacity.
Up to 17 five-year Australian Laureate Fellowships may be awarded each year, providing a salary, in addition to a Level E professorial salary provided by the administering organisation, funding for up to 2 Postdoctoral Research Associates (5 years) and 2 Postgraduate Researchers (4 years), and up to $300,000 per year in project funding.
