Strong collaboration with industry is at the heart of AIBN's research.

Australia’s research funding landscape is changing, with more opportunities to leverage government support for collaborations between academia and industry. AIBN works with many organisations to maximise our investment with support from the government and funding bodies. 

We could partner with you to secure the following grants
ARC Linkage Projects
Supports collaborative research and development between researchers and partner organisations, including industry, to further national innovation and acquisition of new knowledge.
ARC Industry Fellowships
Supports academic researchers to establish careers in industry, and industry-based researchers to work in university settings, increasing the two-way mobility between academia and industry and developing skills in research collaboration, translation and commercialisation.
ARC Industrial Transformation Training Centres (ITTC)
Fosters close partnerships between researchers and industry to provide innovative training, and drive growth, productivity, and competitiveness.
Cooperative Research Centres Projects
Supports short-term, industry-led collaborations to develop important new technologies, products and services.
NHMRC Partnership Projects
Support to answer a specific research question to influence health and well-being through changes in the delivery, organisation, funding, and access to health services.
ARC Industrial Transformation Research Hubs (ITRH)
Focussed on the new industrial economies and in training the future workforce. Supports cutting-edge research on new technologies and economic, commercial, and social transformation to benefit industry partners.
Cooperative Research Centres Program (CRC)
Large-scale, flagship industry-research centres supporting medium-to-long term industry-led collaborations with matched funding to solve industry problems and improve the competitiveness, productivity, and sustainability of Australian industries.
QLD Gov't Investment Assistance Program
Aims to raise the quantity, quality and success rate of Queensland university/research institute applications to eligible Australian Government funding programs for significant projects over $10m with a strong industry engagement component.
QLD Gov't Science into Industry Co-Investment Program
Provides funding support for Queensland university/research institute applications to eligible Australian Government funding programs with a strong, Queensland-based lead and a significant industry engagement component that will benefit Queensland.
