Fei Liu is a PhD candidate at the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN), The University of Queensland. Her research focuses on synthetic microbial communities and living functional materials, with a background in biomaterials and biotechnology. Her current work aims to develop modular coculture-based systems for the efficient and scalable production of high-value aromatic compounds.
