Arsenic is one of the heavy metal pollutants that affects millions of people across the world. It may enter to groundwater through a combination of natural processes such as weathering reactions, mineral dissolutions, and biological activity as well as through anthropogenic activities such as mining, agriculture, and manufacturing. MgO nanomaterials have recently been identified as a new class of arsenite adsorbents with enhanced performances over aforementioned materials. We develope MgO-based adsorbent and try to resolve the problem associated with the utilization of MgO as arsenic adsorbent.
