Suchada (Mai) specialises in drug delivery system: intracellular antibody delivery using bispecific antibodies, antibody fragments, and biomimetic nanoplaticles.

- Molecular biology techniques
- Protein biology techniques: recombinant protein expression and purification (including antibodies)
- Mammalian cell culture
- Confocal laser scanning microscopy
- Biochemistry characterisation of proteins:
o Spectrophotometry
o Protein chemistry and purification/separation using liquid chromatography (HPLC, and AKTA system)
o Binding kinetic assays such as ELISA, BLI, and SPR

- Biomolecule secondary structure analysis via Microfluidic Modulation Spectroscopy (MMS)

Suchada (Mai) is a third-year PhD student working on antibody deliveries for intracellular targets. She is a pharmacist with a keen interest in biopharmaceutical R&D and manufacturing. She graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from Chulalongkorn University, where she majored in Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy. For her undergraduate project, she formulated and developed nanoparticles for transmucosal delivery. Suchada went on to do a Master of Biotechnology at the University of Queensland. Her final master's project was glycoproteomic analysis of sparkling wine by LC/MS-MS at SCMB.

Industry

Suchada's PhD project is associated with CSL, Melbourne.
