Utilizing extracellular vesicles for cancer diagnosis and treatment monitoring with novel microfluidic devices.
Quan’s PhD focuses on the discovery of biomarkers in extracellular vesicles for cancer early diagnosis and therapy response monitoring, as well as the development of novel biosensors combining microfluidics and nanotechnologies. Prior to pursuing a PhD, Quan received a bachelor's degree in bioinformatics from Southeast University, China, and a master’s degree in molecular biology from The University of Queensland.
