He Xian specializes in synthesizing novel sorbents for PFAS removal from contaminated sources

He Xian obtained his Master of Philosophy degree from the University of Queensland (UQ) in early 2025. His research experience includes the synthesis of nanomaterials and their applications in biomolecule delivery. He is currently a PhD student under the supervision of A/Prof Cheng Zhang, Dr Xiao Tan and Prof. Kristofer Thurecht, focusing on the development of novel polymeric sorbents for PFAS removal.
