Meng specialised in the development of seawater degradable 3D-printed polymers.

I am dedicated to integrating non-toxic, seawater-degradable polymers that can degrade more rapidly in seawater and pose no harm to marine life during and after degradation. These seawater-degradable polymers are hydrophilic, allowing for internal and external degradation. Additionally, the use of Queensland’s bio-renewable resources in these polymers contributes to maintaining Queensland’s marine environment and reducing marine plastic pollution.
