Antibacterial analysis and development of nanoparticles from natural products

My academic journey in molecular biology began with a BSc in Biotechnology from Mahatma Gandhi University, followed by an MSc in Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering, where I achieved a university rank (5th position). Currently, I am pursuing a master's in molecular biology (research extensive) at The University of Queensland, where I have been actively involved in various research projects and internships. At present I am working on my final semester project that analyses the antibacterial effect of natural products and develop nanoformulation from it. During my time as a Research Officer and Research Assistant at Scopeful Bioresearch, I gained hands-on experience in maintaining cell lines, developing experimental methods, and handling molecular techniques such as PCR, Q-PCR, cloning, gene expression, and enzyme assays. These roles allowed me to develop a strong foundation in research methodologies, project management, and collaborative work. My research fellow position at SIBBR&D further solidified my interest in molecular biology research. Working under senior scientists on projects funded by the Coconut Development Board of India, I explored the therapeutic properties of coconut, contributing to the field of functional foods and nutraceuticals.
