Greg Pierens manages the Queensland NMR Network (QNN) 500, 700 & 900 MHz NMR facilities. Greg has extensive experience with NMR spectroscopy working in many different research areas, e.g. NMR / MRI applications to the oil industry, peptide NMR, organic and natural product chemistry. His main research area is in structural elucidation of organic compounds and natural products. He has experience in high throughput NMR for applications such as sample profiling and metabolomics.

Other research interests are in molecular modelling (molecular mechanics and density functional theory) to aid in the interpretation of the experimental NMR data.

Please contact Greg for training to operate the NMR spectrometers and advice on how high resolution NMR spectroscopy can help in your research projects.
