Xuemei is interested in developing environmental functional materials, including biosorbents and MOF composite photocatalysts, for wastewater treatment.
Xuemei obtained a PhD degree from the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of Queensland in mid-2024, She has a strong background in material science, absorption and catalysis. She is dedicated to developing novel environmental functional materials, such as biochar and MOF glass composites for the removal of heavy metals, antibiotics and PFAS.
