Nanomedicine, sonodynamic therapy

Firasti Sumadi is a PhD candidate at the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN), University of Queensland. Her research focuses on developing nanomedicine-based approaches for cancer therapy, particularly using sonodynamic therapy (SDT) and MRI-guided drug delivery systems. With a background in pharmacy and biotechnology, she is passionate about translating nanoscale innovations into clinically relevant treatments. Firasti’s work integrates material science, imaging, and therapeutic strategies to target tumor microenvironments more effectively.
