Dr. Jerry Yang is a Postdoctoral researcher with a background in molecular microbiology, synthetic biology, genetics, and biochemistry. Currently based at IDEA Bio (UQ), he works at the interface of synthetic biology and industrial biotechnology, focusing on engineering yeast cell factories for the biosynthesis of natural and therapeutic compounds.
