Developing oral vaccine systems for fish
Xinying is working on developing oral vaccine delivery systems for fish with biocompatible materials. With mucoadhesive materials and acid-resistant materials coating, the antigen can be protected in digestive system and attach to small intestine of fish. Therefore, the antigens can be delivered to small intestine and taken up by immune cells, and induce immune response in fish.
