Investigation of the biophysical parameters modulating endothelial cell behaviour and function to promote wound healing
Studying the intracellular mechanisms that allow the transfer of mechanical force imposed by the ECM to the cell nucleus as a result of an internal cell signalling reaction cascade. Employing biomimetic synthetic materials as methods, and the cellular events studied using microfluidic devices within the Rowan Group at the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology.
