Advanced nanomaterials for CVD and cancer

Cardiovascular Disease and cancer are the two leading causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide, and their burden is expected to increase in the next decade. Current diagnostic techniques and treatment for CVD and cancer present some inherent limitations. Karla's project focuses on the development of novel advanced nanomaterials for the non-invasive diagnosis and treatment of CVD and cancer.
