Study

This PhD project is directly associated with the “Global Hub of Advanced Materials and Integrated Optoelectronics (GH-AMIO)” supported by the Department of Industry and Science and Resources in partnerships with The Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering (ATSE) and the Australian Academy of Science. The project aims to develop next-generation of light conversion devices such as solar cells, sensors, and light emitting devices using cost-effective advanced semiconductors utilising carbon and perovskite materials. This proposal employs several novel material designs, optoelectronics devices, surface modification techniques, and thin film processing strategies, alongside fundamental and /or computational studies to meet the objectives.

Candidates with strong backgrounds in physics, chemistry, or engineering are welcome to apply.
