28 Feb 2019

The Queensland science community is again celebrating the innovation and positive change created by its female researchers with the launch of this year’s Queensland Women in STEM Prize.

The state-wide competition recognizes the achievements of Queensland women working in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Three categories – Jury Award, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Jury Award and People’s Choice Award – are available with a cash prize of $5000 each.

The awards are open to early and mid-career women working in STEM careers whose practice benefits Queenslanders.
