New Electrode Materials for Rechargeable Batteries
Project summary
This project aims to develop high performance electrode materials for rechargeable batteries. The key motivation is to improve the energy and power density of the electrode materials to satisfy the critical requirements of electric vehicles' power system. This project will focus on developing new type layered compounds or composites that have high specific capacity and better rate performance and cycling stability. Such batteries will offer tremendous potential for energy storage applications in hybrid (electric) vehicles and renewable energy supply.
