Henry earned a B.Sc. and a B.Com. at The University of Auckland, New Zealand. Following this, he completed a MRes. in synthetic biology at University College London. In 2017 he joined UQ as a PhD student jointly supervised by Dr Steve Reid from the School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences and Dr Esteban Marcellin at the AIBN.
