Down syndrome as an Ageing model
Duration:
January 2017–December 2019
Project Summary
This project focuses on deciphering the contributions of intrinsic (cell autonomous) drivers in ageing-related bone loss associated with osteoporosis. Our studies aim to provide the necessary foundation data for understanding the underlying fundamental roles of molecular drivers in osteoporosis onset and progression and ultimately, to develop a novel potential therapeutic target centred on altering these drivers to rescue osteoporotic bone loss in vitro and in vivo.
