Advanced materials
Development of smart materials
Positioning as key leader for future adaptive and smart materials in the area of functional polymers and adaptive polymer materials.
AIBN's Five Pillars of Research
AIBN's Five Pillars of Research are designed to enable AIBN to innovate solutions to solve society’s problems through sustainable materials, healthy living and translational success.
Advanced Materials
Limitations in the physical properties of existing materials represent a major barrier to the next generation of technological advances. Our researchers work at the nexus of physics, chemistry and engineering to design advanced nanoscale materials with unique and highly valuable properties. Such ongoing advances in polymer chemistry and functional nanomaterials have positioned AIBN as a key leader in the development of future smart materials.
Advanced materials research
AIBN's research into advanced materials includes platform technology based on the unique properties of cellulose nanofibers in spinifex.
