This half-day workshop aims to introduce students to the world of computational chemistry research. Year 10 and 11 students will learn about the structure of molecules and how they arrange, by performing quantum mechanical calculations and molecular dynamics simulations on an Australian supercomputer.
The workshop, to be held at on 18-19th July 2016, recognises existing deep levels of collaboration between leading Chinese researchers and CSIRO, UQ and QUT.
